12 Pirates Battle It Out (For a Chippy!)
7th - 8th November 2025
Ahoy there landlubbers! We're thrilled to announce that our intermediate acting students will perform this brand new play written by the brilliant Cormac Myles.
Set on the imaginary River Glyde, two rival pirate ships sit face to face. The Bagpipe Bandits catch wind that the Haggis Haulers have a map... and they want in! (It’s treasure!)
Suddenly, the map is stolen, tears are shed, stakes are raised, and we’re off on a sea-faring race towards Ayr, meeting the strange and slippery creatures of the River Glyde along the way.
Expect a few familiar stops too, like Livingston, Airdrie, and Glasgow. But what really lies in the treasure chest marked on the map? Is it what everyone expects to light up their eyes? And most importantly... will they ever get their chippy at the front of Sunny Ayr Beach?!

Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time
12th - 14th March 2026
Christopher, 15 years old, stands beside Mrs Shears’ dead dog. It has been speared with a garden fork, it is seven minutes after midnight, and Christopher is under suspicion. He records each fact in the book he is writing to solve the mystery of who murdered Wellington. He has an extraordinary brain and is exceptional at maths, but he is ill-equipped to interpret everyday life. He has never ventured alone beyond the end of his road, he detests being touched, and he distrusts strangers. But Christopher’s detective work, forbidden by his father, takes him on a frightening journey that turns his world upside-down.
Simon Stephens’ adaptation of Mark Haddon’s bestselling, award-winning novel The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time offers a richly theatrical exploration of this touching and bleakly humorous tale.
